BEYP-029 project? HelpBooks will guide you from topic to marks
Our project mentors have worked with science and technology learners on IGNOU synopses and project reports. You get one team that stays with you through every stage:
- Topic options based on your job, locality and the energy systems you can access
- Synopsis drafted with you, with the proforma checked before submission
- Full report support on the approved synopsis, original and plagiarism-checked
- Help with revisions until your result is declared
BEYP-029 is Project-2 of the IGNOU B.Sc (Applied Science – Energy) programme (BSCAEY). IGNOU lists it as a four-credit project in the sixth semester, after Project-1 (BEYP-028) in the fourth semester. Treat the two as separate pieces of work. In practice each project runs in two parts, a synopsis that gets approved first and a report written after that.

Credits and semester are from the IGNOU programme page for BSCAEY, which gives no project guidelines. We did not find a public BEYP-029 booklet with page limits, chapters, guide conditions and dates, so use the guideline in your study material or on the IGNOU website for those, and treat the outlines below as working outlines.
Who can be your BEYP-029 guide?
We could not confirm the official guide conditions for BEYP-029 from IGNOU’s public pages. Check the guide section of your BSCAEY guideline before you approach anyone, and keep the guide’s qualification and experience details ready, since the proforma usually asks for them. HelpBooks can check your chosen guide against your guideline before you begin the synopsis.
Choosing a BEYP-029 topic
“Future of clean energy”
“Energy consumption pattern and saving potential in government school buildings of Dehradun district”
As your second project, the topic should be new work and not a copy of what you did in BEYP-028. Pick something narrow, linked to energy, and possible for you to study with the data and access you have. Some areas that work well:
- Solar and wind: performance of a solar plant, solar street lights or small wind systems in your area
- Energy audit and efficiency: electricity use and savings in a building, hospital or small industry
- Bioenergy: biogas plant working, biomass availability or briquette use in a village
- Electric mobility: awareness, charging facilities or cost comparison of electric two-wheelers in a city
- Energy policy: adoption of a government solar or efficiency scheme by households or small businesses
If you work in a power utility, solar company or industry, a topic linked to it makes data collection far easier. This is also the first thing our mentors look at when they suggest topics to a BSCAEY learner.
BEYP-029 synopsis outline
Your guideline gives the official synopsis format and proforma. Until you check it, a working outline for a project synopsis looks like this:
- Title
- Introduction and need for the study
- Objectives, written neutrally and not assuming the result
- Methodology: data sources, sample or site, instruments or calculations, and analysis
- Scope and limitations
The proforma is signed and dated by you and your guide. An incomplete or unsigned proforma is the most common reason for a synopsis to come back.
BEYP-029 project report structure
After approval, the report is built on the same topic, objectives and method that were approved. A typical project report runs through:
- Introduction
- Review of literature
- Methodology
- Data analysis and results, with tables, charts and their interpretation
- Findings, conclusion and suggestions
- References and annexures
Check your guideline for the page limit and what must be bound in, such as the approved synopsis and the originality certificate.
HelpBooks mentors help you turn your approved synopsis into a complete BEYP-029 report with your own data, proper tables and interpretation, and a final check before you submit. WhatsApp us on 8800002552
Why BEYP-029 synopses and reports come back
- Proforma not signed or dated by the student or the guide
- Guide outside the eligibility conditions
- Topic too wide, not related to energy, or repeated from Project-1
- Objectives that the method cannot answer
- Report that changes the topic, site or method from the approved synopsis
- Approved synopsis or originality certificate missing
- Copied literature review or theory
- Report sent to the wrong office or at the wrong time
If your synopsis is not approved: read the comments, revise, and resubmit as your guideline directs, with a copy of the earlier synopsis and its comments. Our mentors can rework a returned synopsis using the comments you received.
How HelpBooks mentors BSCAEY learners
Most learners who reach us have one of three problems: they cannot settle on a topic, their synopsis has come back once, or they have approval but do not know how to turn data into a report. Our mentors stay with you through the whole BEYP-029 journey, from the first topic list to the day your marks appear:
- 5–6 workable topic options based on your job, locality and access to data, to discuss with your guide
- Synopsis drafted with you, with the proforma checked line by line before you submit it
- Help with revisions if your synopsis is returned
- After approval, support in building the full report on your approved synopsis, with original writing, your own data and a plagiarism check
- A final check of the annexures, certificate and submission method
- Support until your result is declared, including any changes the evaluator asks for

Common questions
Is BEYP-029 compulsory?
IGNOU lists it as Project-2 of the BSCAEY programme, a four-credit project in the sixth semester.
Can I use the same topic as BEYP-028?
They are separate projects in different semesters. Ask your programme coordinator or guideline whether Project-2 may continue the Project-1 topic. Otherwise choose a fresh topic.
Can I choose a guide from my workplace?
Possibly, if the person meets the guide conditions in your guideline. Send us the person’s qualification and experience, and we will check it against the guideline.
Is there a viva for BEYP-029?
We did not find a viva stated in IGNOU’s public pages for this course. Check your guideline, and know your own report well either way.
Can HelpBooks help if I have already started?
Yes. Many learners come to us after a returned synopsis or with approval in hand. Share what you have, and we pick up from that stage.
